Class Placement
Attendance
Regular attendance is mandatory.
Students should arrive to class at least five minutes early to properly warm up. Students must have and maintain a 90% class attendance rating. Dancers may make up any missed classes. (Prolonged illness or injury will be evaluated on a case by case basis.) Should a student’s attendance drop below what is required, both the student and parents will be notified. You MUST call if you are going to be late or absent.
In the event of an absence, withdrawal or dismissal from K&M Studio, all fees, paid or outstanding, are non-refundable.
Payment
Only payment by cash or check is accepted.
Tuition
Tuition is based on 10 month payment plan (September-June). Each payment is due the first class of each trimester. If payment is not made by the 10th of each month, a late fee of $10.00 will be applied to your account. This late fee will continue to be applied to your total balance until your bill is paid in full, including late fees. If any account is 30 days in arrears, the dancer will not be allowed to participate in class until payment arrangements have been made. All returned checks will be subject to a charge of $20.00.
Costume Payment/Orders
At least one costume fee is due upon registration. The remaining costume balance is due in full by November. We will NOT order costumes until all payments are made. Additional fees will be added for extra shipping and handling costs for costume(s) which are not ordered with the initial class order. Costumes ordered late may not be received in time for a student’s performance.
Attire
All students who have made the choice to participate in dance classes at K&M need to understand that proper dance attire is part of the discipline and commitment to their study of dance. When all students are dressed appropriately and alike, their focus remains on dance. Therefore, the dress codes will be enforced.
*If students do not conform they will be asked to leave the classroom.
Required Dates
Aside from being present for all classes, students must leave their schedules open and present in all subjects the week prior to any performances.
